Men's Competition August 30

The 5th round of the Nagambie golf club Social club trophy was played on Sunday, a constant south wind blow across the course making scoring difficult but this did not stop inform golfer Greg Whiteman accumulating 39 stableford points to win the day. Greg's efforts come off the back of his recent good form where he won the double's match play title and he is obviously someone to watch out for in the up coming Open Goulburn Cup to be played at Nagambie Golf club on Sunday the 13th of September. The days best scratch score was Dean Brown with a very good score of 59. The winner of the handicap event went to John Richards firing a nett 45, John obviously enjoyed the shortened course which would have played to his strengths which are on and around the greens, John has never been a fan of 'Tiger Tees' as he calls them.
