Winter golf has well and truly arrived with heavy ground conditions and thick air making scoring difficult, but not the case for one such Nagambie golfer with Tim Baldwin winning his second event in as many starts. Tim put together 38 stableford points to claim a comfortable win over the rest of the field, runner up was Jon Ford banging out 33 points followed by the inform Greg Whiteman also on 33 points.
Nearest the pins went to the days three top place getters with Whiteman hitting the 3rd, Baldwin reaching the 8th and Ford bounding one onto the 13th. Our Mushroom Exchange Shirley Deane tournament will now be played on Thursday the 10th of November. Stableford was played with the day’s event winners being A Grade Mozzy Fowler with 35 points, B & C Grade winner was Irene Keogh with 30 points.
