Webby wins, 42 stableford points were needed for the win at Nagambie golf club on Sunday with two players managing to amass that total. Adam Webster put together a fantastic round of golf with his first Sunday round for sometime beating Mark Waldon on conutback, Mark's blistering round of 42 points equated to a 76 off the stick, great scoring by both players. Next best went to the inform Phil Hageman with 40 points followed by 'The Moustache' Trevor Price finishing with 38 points.
Some good shots were needed to win the nearest the pin prizes, J.Ezard jagging one onto the 3rd, S.Bryant stumbling one up to the 8th, G.Bow caressing it onto the 13th and finally J.James striking one accurately enough to land on the 16th. Next...

Social Golf - 12 November


The chicken run on Thursday the 12th saw 16 players tee off in rather sultry conditions eventually turning into a few showers of rain for the last players but more rain is needed. The winner of the chicken was Gay Henderson with a good 22 points.  Nearest the pin on the 13th went to Shane McCormick. Next week will be a Par round on the front nine.

Bookings are essential for catering purposes. The golf club held the pub raffle this week and a good profit was made. The 1st prize was Nicole Taylor, 2nd was Finola Price and 3rd Shane D from the top pub many thanks to all who supported us.

Wednesday the 11th saw 11 players with 2 grades again for the first week of our summer season. A Grade was won again by Jenny Jeong with 33 points with the B and C Grade winner being Judi Redfern with 27 points. The extra 9 hole event winner was Annette Mills with 17 points.  Balls down the line for 18 holes went to Jeong [33] then there was a 6 way count back with all on 30 points and the end result was Sue Verge and  Ronda Richards with Deirdre Kleinig, Gay Henderson, Sally Bazeley and Mills missing out. Nine hole balls were won by Mills [17] and then a 3 way count back for the last 2 balls to Jo Goodacre, Henderson and Bazeley missing out with all on 15 points.  Nearest the pin on the 8th was Henderson and 13th Verge. Men's Competition November 8


The 1st round of the Summer trophy was played at Nagambie golf club on Sunday with Shane McCormick winning the day with a steady round of 85-14-71, Shane put together 6 pars in succession to win by a comfortable 2 shots. Runner up went to Neil Muir with a credible 97-24-73, followed by Alby Seenan coming third in a countback also with 73. Nearest the pin for the day went to A.Seenan on the 13th.


Friday night was the first of four 9 hole ambrose events to be held throughtout the summer, this event can be entered by anyone, golfer or non golfer, our next night will be Friday 4th December. The winners on the night with a superbe 3 under par score were Trevor Redfern, Shaun Bryant, Paul Carra Vacca Lopez and David Love, runners up with a score of 2 under went to Jeremy Ezard, Ian Ezard, Sue Essex and Shane McCormick.
