The first weekend of spring arrived with very little sunshine in tow, the overcast skies and light north wind made for ideal playing conditons, with plenty of grass on the course and the fairways nice and green. A monthly medal was the prize on offer with the number of players slightly down due to Father's Day. The winner of the medal went to Mark Gale a player who is definitely on the improve, and has figured in the results of a number of recent events, Mark put together a solid round of 89-18-71. Runner up to Mark on the day was playing partner Dean Brown who made good use of some extra handicap shooting 84-11-73.
